The NNF Grade 12 Excellence Awards identify and celebrate the matric learners who would undertaken the final exams and passed. The intention is to inspire other learners to demonstrate far-reaching effort in order to pass their exams. Our goal is the learners have the education that have an impact and innovation in community and the country at large.
The foundation work towards that the learners receive all the school materials they need to get the most out of their time at school, including registration and school fees, books, uniforms and stationery.

Bullying is a big problem in many schools. It affects learners emotionally, socially, and academically. Some learners become scared, lonely, and lose confidence because of bullying. Rural schools often do not have enough awareness programmes and support services. This campaign helps learners understand bullying and encourage them to treat others with kindness and respect.
The transition into Grades 7, 8, and 9 is a tough time for teenagers. In rural schools, learners face extra challenges like living far apart, having fewer counsellors, and feeling isolated. The Ntodeni Nenungwi Foundation (NNF) is committed to its goal of an anti-bullying campaign in the rural areas to create positive and safe environments where all young people feel valued, respected, and free from fear, allowing them to become the best version of themselves academically, socially, and be able to express their emotions.

The NNF Girls Conference is a ground breaking initiative dedicated to empowering and inspiring young girls from across the Vhembe District and beyond. The conference will provide a safe and supportive platform where girls can engage in conversations on personal growth, leadership, education, mental health, and social responsibility. Our goal is to nurture confident, resilient, and visionary young women who can make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Our goal is to nurture confident, resilient, and visionary young men who can successfully transition into safe manhood and make a meaningful impact in their communities. As an organisation, NNF is committed to uplifting youth through developmental programmes that focus on education, leadership, mentorship, and social empowerment. Our work aims to address critical challenges faced by young people, while creating opportunities that foster growth, self-worth, and a sense of purpose.
The NNF Boys Conference assists the boys in exploring and cultivating humanity. Eventually, the boys also learn their character, empathy, and sense of purpose. Drawing on current research and best practice, get equipped with practical strategies and resources to strengthen boys’ emotional, moral, and intellectual development.
NNF also take opportunity with utilising national holidays such as the National Youth Days to advocate for children"s education as a pathway to ending poverty in the community. In addition, on the youth day we also advocate for self-discovery, empowerment, and leadership development. Engaging keynotes, interactive activities, and reflective sessions will cultivate their sense of personal agency and self-leadership, equipping them with indispensable skills for success.
The foundation also go further to immerse learners in a truly transformative experience at the national youth day. Using our cause, education, we prepare them embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and leadership development. Engaging keynotes, interactive activities, and reflective sessions will cultivate their sense of personal agency and self-leadership, equipping them with indispensable skills for success.
The National World Youth Day event will continue to meet with learners from schools in the district and focused on supporting and equipping future leaders and facilitating collaboration and community. The events offers an opportunity where young people experience expressions of masculinity, uncovering important links between online cultures and real‑world behaviours as speakers highlight evidence‑informed initiatives that expand opportunities for boys through innovative teaching practices, enriched learning environments, and strengthened approaches to health and well-being.
Poverty affects a child’s health, mental health and wellbeing. Many children report missing out on essential items like food, clothes, housing and often friendships because they have no one to turn so often. The impact poverty has on children can last a lifetime. This is despite having parents who love them and trying to do their best. The foundation provides the opportunity to fend off the toll on children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
